How to get out a striped computer screw?I took my computer to a local computer repair shop to have them remove some screws to get to the hard drive and they made a philips screw into a circle screw, and I don't think they make a circle screw driver. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to get a small laptop screw out after it has been circularized.
in safe mode F8 run malwarebytes anti-malware and SUPERAntispyware, and what they find you
delete it manually. then run ccleaner to clean your pc, and mvregclean, to clean registry.
what mvregclean find you remove because the key is there but not the file ,folder or program.
even you reformat and it finds anything remove dont be afraid.
dont forget when you install this software to update them, and do an update every day
then restore until before you get infected.

specially note the words "windows 2000 does not show the cryptographic services in the administrative tools……."
wow, how did you travel back in time from 11pm today?
Hard to diag this – if you google the stop error code this can give you clues
Also when saying physical memory dump this may lean towards a problem with the ram – BUT not always – best way and the quickest way to find this out is to do a test outside of windows – visit the link below for a memory diag from MS – run this and if shows errors then it will be a hardware fault
If no error found then a little bit more diags are needed
If you are abole to get into safemode
click start > control panel > adminstrator tools > event viewer
on the left three options > application > system > security
click on the left application > look for any errors on the right > double click on these and this should give you a description > google this info again can give you vital clues
do the same with the system > again google the results – Beware you will get some errors because you have gone into safemode – ignore DCOM and anything related to TCP/IP and anything to do with networks
Hope this helps
Need any further help either IM (if i'm online) me or email me with the results
Write all this in your Ebay ad, so the buyer know there is a problem with. Guarantee it against DOA, and let the buyer know it's as-is, with the problems stated.
Try doing a soft reset on all of the equipment, eventhough other people can connect. Unplug the router and cable modem. Plug in the modem, wait until all the normal operating lights are solid. Then plug in the router, and wait about 2 minutes. Then plug your computer back into the router and power up. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling or updating the driver on your nic card. Dell.com has a download section where you can find it.
First, its important WHICH scanners you download as there are many malware programs posing as scanners. I use a battery of progams that overlap, but only one active scanner (like Norton but NOT Norton). I use Avast. I also use A2 Anti-Trojan Free Version, Spyware Blaster, Spybot S&D, and Ccleaner to clean temp files. All free.
There are a other reputable programs, but I never have any problems. I always check what kind of file I am opening, especially large files like movies.
Without restore points or system disc, you're gonna have to get dirty and weed it out. If its too much, download Hijackthis (but don't mess with what you don't uderstand) save a log file and post it on a helpful website like pchelpforum.com

PCI.sys is available in the compressed form in .cab files on the services packs and installation disc.
your can extract it using extrac32 in safe mode.
or you can mount your drive as a slave or external drive on a different machine and copy it over manually.
worst case you can do a "repair" install of Windows without losing data.
good luck
It doesnt sound like a problem with your laptop so much as a problem with the Internet provider. If your connected wirelessly as mine is and mine runs on Vista then you should not have a problem bringing up the net. If you have the laptop running off of a modem plugged into your phone jack then you may need to restart the modem so the connection is made quickly. If you have a strong signal then its either the modem not communicating or the provider not sending the web pages, let me know if that makes a difference.
